Farm work doesn’t wait for better signal. Whether you’re scouting crops, recording inputs, or completing tasks, losing connection shouldn’t slow you down. LiteFarm now automatically switches to offline mode when your internet drops, so you can keep working without interruption.
What you can do offline

We started with tasks. When you’re in the field without signal, you can:
View your existing tasks
Create tasks on the spot
Edit and complete tasks
Access your fields and maps
Use crops and products you’ve already added
As soon as you’re back online, everything you've done while offline syncs automatically.

Navigating the interface offline
To keep things clear while you're off-grid, we've added simple visual cues:
"Eye" Icon: Sections marked with this icon are available in Read-Only mode.
Greyed Out:Â Sections that require a live connection are clearly greyed out so you don't waste time clicking.
Important : Keep in mind that offline needs preparation
Offline mode works once LiteFarm has had enough time online to store your farm data on your device.
In simple terms, you need to use LiteFarm online first so it can cache the necessary data. After that, you’re ready to work without connectivity.
If your data hasn’t been fully synced yet, you’ll see clear visual indicators showing what’s available and what’s not.
A few limitations
To keep offline mode reliable and stable:
You can’t add new products while offline
You can’t add new crops  You can’t create new locations
You can’t access data that hasn’t already been synced
Browser support
Offline mode works across modern browsers. For the most reliable experience, we strongly recommend using Google Chrome.
As always, we have tested the feature thoroughly, but try it on your next field visit and let us know how it performs where you farm.
As always, happy farming!
